Decarbonisation via AI & IoT Software and Products

Although we believe Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) shall have a positive effect on the drive towards NetZero emissions there shall be instances where this technology could have a significant detrimental effect on our goal to meet carbon neutrality.

A perfect example of this would be the estimated annual power demand of Bitcoin alone at 143 TWh which is just one of many cryptocurrencies. A recent Citigroup paper estimated there was a 66-fold increase in Bitcoin energy use from 2015 to 2020 and at this growth rate, Bitcoin energy use will soon overtake energy use by the rest of the data centre industry combined.

How It Works

Stage 1

Business, Product or Infrastructure Project Enquiry

An initial enquiry is submitted online by a company or individual outlining the nature of their investment opportunity and needs which shall be reviewed by the Corporate Management Team at pathway2netzero to establish if the investment meets our funding criteria. On meeting this criteria a detailed application shall be completed online and this shall be reviewed by the Investment Governance Board prior to proceeding to Stage 2.

Stage 2

Investment Opportunity Launch

An Investment Memorandum and Data Room is prepared by the pathway2netzero Management Team and posted onto our progressive web app to allow the three levels of investors below to review the information, ask questions and ultimately decide whether they wish to invest in the business, product or infrastructure project.

High Net Worth Investor

pathway2netzero shall have an approved list of high net worth investors who have already been vetted and are ready to invest.
